Icon-2011 Pickleball Direct era

Amify is born! Our Founder, Ethan McAfee, begins selling pickleball paddles out of his townhouse in Northern Virginia. Amify’s original name was Pickleball Direct.

Icon-2013 Our first office

The townhouse community kicks Ethan’s business out of the complex. We rented our first office space in Alexandria, Virginia. We begin selling a variety of sporting goods, from running shoes to hockey sticks.

Icon-2014-2018 Entering our top reseller era

Amify’s reseller business grows tremendously, becoming one of the top 1% of sellers on Amazon. We decide to take our extensive knowledge of selling on Amazon to become a complete strategy, management, and operational partner for brands.

Icon-2019 Investments secured

Amify raises $5.8 million in Series A funding — led by Mercury Fund, with investments from CincyTech, SaaS Venture Capital, Dundee Venture Capital and Capital One co-founder Nigel Morris
